Kids Camps

Lone Star Farm offers a unique camp program bringing kids and horses together. Each day is a fun filled learning experience for girls and boys ages 8-17. The summer day camp  programs last for a full week Mon-Fri 8:30am to 5pm. Campers enjoy daily riding lessons, horse care and craft projects.

June 16th - June 20th                July 7th - July 11th                  July 21st - July 25th

Camp Information

1. Camp starts at 8:30am and ends at 5pm, Monday through Friday. If you child requires earlier drop off or later pick up please advise us so arrangements can be made.

2. Your child should wear long pants and shoes with a hard sole during riding time.

3. The fee for all week is $225. If you have more than 1 child who will be attending camp, please let us know as we offer family discounts.

4. Snacks and drinks are provided, however each child needs to bring a sack lunch daily.

5. Your child will be taught some rules not only for camp but to live by. The first of which is, "There's no such thing as I can't"

6. We encourage you to talk to your child about the day and what they have learned. Then pass on any feedback you can to help our program.

7. Each day your child will partake in a discussion about something about the horse world. It may about equipment, care, grooming or various breeds of horses.

8. The success of this program lies with us all. We try to teach by example and from experience. We need your feedback. Any questions you have, please ask. We have been working with children for 18 years. We have a lot of experience, but do not have all the answers. Together, we can make a difference though.

9. If the staff needs to be aware of any special considerations, allergies etc. Please remember to give us a note to that effect.

10. All forms need to be filled out prior to the start of camp. Once registration form is received, liability forms, and medical releases will be mailed to you.

Registration Form

1. The fee for each weeklong session is $225 for a full day 8:30am – 5pm.
2. Camp registration is on a first come first served basis. We expect camp to fill up quickly and strongly encourage early registration. Camper is not registered without payment.
3.  A $100 deposit is required at the time of registration, and the remaining balance of $125 is due prior to the start of camp.
4. Refunds are given only if: a) camp session is full; b) in the case of injury/medical emergency.
